Our Event Calendar
Ice Skating Club hosts a vibrant calendar of events designed to bring our community together, celebrate achievements, and provide opportunities for skaters to showcase their skills. From friendly competitions to festive celebrations, there's always something happening at our club.
Events are open to members and often to the wider public. They're a wonderful way to experience the excitement of ice skating, support fellow skaters, and enjoy the camaraderie of our community.
Upcoming Events 2025
Spring Showcase
Time: 14:00 - 17:00
Our seasonal showcase where skaters of all levels perform routines they've been working on. A supportive, non-competitive environment to celebrate progress and share the joy of skating with family and friends.
Family Fun Skate
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
A relaxed social skating session for families. Enjoy games on ice, music, and refreshments. Perfect for introducing children to club activities or simply having fun together on the ice.
Inter-Club Competition
Time: 09:00 - 16:00
Friendly competition with neighboring skating clubs. Various categories for different skill levels. Great opportunity for competitive skaters to gain experience and for spectators to enjoy high-quality performances.
Summer Social Evening
Time: 18:00 - 21:00
Evening social skate with music, followed by refreshments and socializing. Adults only event. Bring friends and enjoy a fun evening with the skating community.
Club Championships
Time: 10:00 - 17:00
Our annual internal competition showcasing our members' skills. Multiple categories ensure everyone who wants to compete can participate. Medals and certificates awarded.
Autumn Skills Workshop
Time: 13:00 - 16:00
Intensive workshop focusing on specific skills. Different sessions available for various levels. Guest coach bringing fresh perspective and techniques.
Halloween Skate
Time: 17:00 - 19:00
Costume skating party with spooky decorations and themed music. Prizes for best costumes. Fun for all ages with games and treats.
Winter Wonderland Show
Time: 15:00 - 18:00
Our spectacular festive performance featuring club members in a themed ice show. Professional lighting and music create magical atmosphere. Perfect family entertainment for the holiday season.

🎬 Showcases
Non-competitive performances where skaters demonstrate skills in a supportive atmosphere. Great for building confidence and sharing achievements with loved ones.
🎉 Social Events
Relaxed gatherings focused on fun and community. Music, games, and themed sessions create enjoyable experiences for members and their families.
📚 Workshops
Specialized training sessions focusing on particular skills or techniques. Often featuring guest coaches bringing new perspectives and methods.
Getting Involved
As a Participant
Most events are open to all club members. Sign up through our notice board or contact our team. For competitions and showcases, preparation time is typically 4-6 weeks. Coaches will help you select appropriate music and choreograph routines if needed.
First time performing? Don't worry! We pair nervous skaters with experienced members who can offer guidance and support. Remember, everyone at the club has been in your position before.
As a Spectator
Family and friends are warmly welcomed at our events. Most are free to attend with voluntary donations appreciated. Arrive early for best seating at popular events like our winter show.
Spectators often tell us they're inspired to take up skating after watching our events. If you're curious about trying skating yourself, speak to our team at any event.
Volunteering
Events run smoothly thanks to volunteers who help with various tasks. Whether setting up, managing music, serving refreshments, or tidying afterward, every contribution matters.

Recent Event Highlights
Winter Show 2024
Over 150 attendees enjoyed our December winter spectacular. Skaters ranged from beginners performing simple routines to advanced members showcasing complex choreography. The festive atmosphere was magical.
Spring Competition 2024
Forty competitors took part in our spring competition with local clubs. The standard was impressively high and our members represented the club brilliantly, bringing home several medals.
Summer Family Day 2024
Families enjoyed games on ice, face painting, and refreshments at our summer event. The relaxed atmosphere introduced many children to club activities and several have since joined regular sessions.
